23 February 2010 Newly added to this site is an account of the Aeolothripidae known from Australia, including 10 genera and 31 species. The new species are described in the journal Systematic Entomology.

1 December 2009 After recent publication in Zootaxa, two new species of Panchaetothripinae, Selenothrips rubrocinctus and Stosicthrips szitas, have been added to the site and the Australian Panchaetothripinae identification key.
