Diversity

The only species placed in this genus is similar to species of Zeugmatothrips, but has a pair of large tubercles on the metanotum.

Brazil.

Biology

Spore-feeding, probably in leaf litter.

Relationships

Tribe Idolothripini, subtribe Hystricothripina.

Related to Zeugmatothrips.
